President's Message

Dear Friends,

A tremendous sense of optimism and excitement abounds at Woodbury University. This "buzz" can be heard from all quarters — the larger student body, an expanding cadre of experienced professionals who come here to teach and an ever-growing number of alumni, friends and foundations who show their support through record charitable giving. This energy also carries over to Woodbury's close ties to the business community and interactions with the Southern California community as a whole. Woodbury is recognized for its dynamic atmosphere and dedication to creative thinking and excellence.

There are many explanations for this success. But perhaps the single most important reason is that Woodbury is a nimble organization that can meet changing student and public expectations. This fact, supported by a 125-year-old tradition of educating articulate, ethical, lifelong learners, allows Woodbury to offer personal services in ways that meet targeted needs. We don't have to be all things to all people.

Woodbury focuses solely on preparing graduates who are ready for success in a wide range of high-paying, high-demand fields such as architecture, animation, fashion design, graphic design, business, computer information systems and marketing. Our graduates and the community benefit.

I urge potential students to see what the "buzz" at Woodbury is all about and I invite our tens of thousands of alumni to visit our Burbank campus and share in our success.

Sincerely,
Kenneth R. Nielsen, Ed.D.
President
